GUPSA had an amazing and rewarding 2015 with many social and academic events, advocacy, and support for postgraduate students at Griffith University. It’s been such an incredible journey to be the President of GUPSA.
GUPSA is partnering with the Uni-Skills Student Transition and Leadership Scheme to provide peer mentoring for coursework postgrad students this year. A number of postgrads have already applied and are being trained to be team leaders for the peer groups. But gaps remain and the the team is looking for more coursework postgrad students to apply. These are paid positions.
Discover Griffith research at its best when 16 of our PhD candidates and 3 Honours students compete in the Three Minute Thesis competition final on Tuesday 21 October 2014 at Nathan. 3MT® is a competition which challenges research students to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic, communicating its significance to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes.
Griffith University provides academic language and learning support for HDR students via the English Higher Education Language Program (EnglishHELP). EnglishHELP is not an editing service but rather a teaching and learning service for students with English as an additional language.
