Know your work rights!

On the 17 October, the Council of International Students Australia hosted a State forum in our South Bank campus. Many international student leaders and advocates joined to learn more about employability and work exploitation.

One of the relevant topics involved knowing your rights at work. The Fair Work Ombudsman website offers a wide variety of tools and information about your work rights, payments, and even it leads you to an app you can download.

Students pleased with plans for safety education program in Brisbane

The postgraduate students community at Griffith University is pleased that Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk has promised to set aside $10.9 million for a safety education program following the murder of French student Sophie Collombet near the William Jolly Bridge on March 28.
