Notice of Annual General Meeting

GUPSA invites you to its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Wednesday, 18th March 2015

5.00 – 6.00 pm

Function Room, Unibar, N71, Nathan Campus, Griffith University.

The AGM will be part of a start of semester social function 4:30pm-8pm and refreshments will be provided. For catering purposes, please RSVP to our Support Officer, Michael Carden,by 13 March, at michael@gupsa.org.au.

All postgraduate students are welcome!

ELECTION OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE POSITIONS

At the AGM all of these positions will be declared vacant:

  • President
  • Vice President – (Research)
  • Vice President – (Coursework)
  • Treasurer
  • Indigenous Students Officer
  • Honours Students Officer
  • International Students Officer
  • Queer Students Officer
  • Nathan Campus Coordinator
  • Logan Campus Coordinator
  • Mt Gravatt Campus Coordinator
  • Queensland Conservatorium of Music Coordinator
  • Queensland College of Art Coordinator

All Postgraduate students at Griffith University are eligible to nominate for positions provided they meet the requirements of the position. You can find descriptions of the positions here.

Special conditions apply for many of the positions so if you’re interested in nominating, please email Michael at michael@gupsa.org.au for more information, and to obtain a nomination form. Nominations should be submitted by 17 March 2015 (in the case of positions for which no nominations are received beforehand, nominations will be called on the night).

Proxy forms are available, if you can’t attend the AGM but still want a vote, and are available by emailing michael@gupsa.org.au. Proxies can be submitted at the meeting or prior at the GUPSA office, Student Associations and Clubs (N28) Nathan, or email to michael@gupsa.org.au.
