Parking and Transport
Campus Parking
Parking is available on Logan, Mt Gravatt and Nathan Campuses, however Griffith does not have parking areas available for the South Bank Campuses.
Parking permits
- 2023 General Parking Permit cost $135.30 per Trimester
- 2023 Annual Parking Permit cost $405.89
Don’t want to purchase a Parking Permit, daily Casual Parking is available and must be paid on arrival via the “PayStay App” or at a “Pay-by-Plate parking machine” which are located at parking zones at all campuses.
Casual Parking Cost
- Pay by the hour $2 or max $6 per day
- 2 hour Casual Parking is available in designated parking zones or daily casual parking is available.
Intercampus Bus – Nathan to Mt Gravatt
Griffith Intercampus Bus service is a free service to transport Students and Staff between Nathan and Mt Gravatt Campuses. This service stops at Griffith University Busway Station which connects to a number of Brisbane City Council Buses.
Bus Schedule during Trimester
- This bus operates Monday to Friday—excluding public and University holidays. Passengers need to be ready to hail the bus at the bus stop.
- Intercampus Bus departs Nathan Campus at 7:30am every 15 minutes until 6:00pm then every 30 minutes til last bus departs at 9:30pm.
- Intercampus Bus departs Mt Gravatt Campus at 7:30am every 15 minutes until 6:00pm then every 30 minutes til last bus departs at 9:45pm.

- The bus operates Monday to Friday—excluding public and University holidays. Passengers need to be ready to hail the bus at the bus stop.
- Intercampus Bus departs Nathan Campus at 7:30am every 30 minutes until last bus departs at 6:00pm.
- Intercampus Bus departs Mt Gravatt Campus at 7:45am every 30 minutes until last bus departs at 6:15pm.
FREE South Brisbane Shuttle Bus
The South Brisbane bus loop trial will provide additional bus options for Griffith staff and students travelling to and from the Nathan campus run by the Brisbane City Council.
The new service (route 86) will travel in an anti-clockwise direction along Grey Street, Montague Road, Vulture Street and Tribune Street.
The service is expected to operate every 10-15 minutes, 7 days a week between 10 am and 11 pm and will be great for any Griffith staff and students who are looking for a convenient way to get around South bank.
