Sachdev SinghCampus Coordination Officer
My name is Sachdev Singh, Australian born and currently undertaking the Master of Health Services Management at Griffith University (Brisbane) whilst simultaneously completing an Undergraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Science in my 3 years of study at Griffith (Gold Coast). Having an extended scientific curiosity, I intend to pursue a doctorate within the discipline of molecular biology, with further interest in venous/ arterial access devices within the field of medicine.
My passion for improving systems from a public health standpoint drives the motivation for taking on the role of Campus Coordination Officer on the GUPSA Board, determining policy, reform and governance relevant to postgraduate students at Griffith University across Logan, Nathan and Southbank campuses.
Despite having a busy schedule, you will always catch me getting my local “caffeine fix” at the campus coffee shops so please feel free to approach me with any questions or concerns.
Outside of the university sphere I enjoy a good challenge to stimulate that “adrenaline rush” be it a good mountain climb or testing the capacity of taste buds. Being a travel aficionado, I love to meet new people, whilst discovering the foods and culture this world has to offer.
Finally, I would like to leave anyone reading this with a favorite quote which usually makes me smile due to ironic factors: Nothing is so permanent as a temporary government program (Milton Friedman).
Keep smiling and see you all around campus
