New: free editing service
I’m very pleased to announce the start of our new editing service, which will be free for all postgraduates. The service will be provided by Evie Franzidis, who has a master’s degree in Writing, Editing, and Publishing from the University of Queensland.
Evie has been editing academic and corporate writing since 2009. While her specialisation is in art historical and theoretical writing, she has experience in editing a wide range of disciplines. The aim of this editing service is to assist you in improving your academic writing. How it works is that you submit a sample of your writing to Evie, who will correct any grammatical or stylistic errors in the text. She will then meet with you in person to discuss the kinds of errors that are present, and how to avoid making them in future. For external or remote students, we can make use of email, telephone, and the postal system. The feedback you receive will be confidential, non-judgemental, and constructive. Please note, this is a part-time service so please allow a one-week turnaround, or longer if there is heavy demand.
All the information about the service is available on this website but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our Support Officer, Michael Carden on m.carden@griffith.edu.au.
