Campus Parking

Parking is available on Logan, Mt Gravatt and Nathan Campuses, however Griffith does not have parking areas available for the South Bank Campuses. See more information here: Griffith Parking Information.

Sale dates

Annual and Trimester 1 parking permits go on sale from Monday, 5 February.

Casual Parking

Driving and parking isn’t your only option. Find out about other transport options and facilities on the Griffith Transport website. If you have any questions about the upgrade, you can check the Parking website for more details.

Daily Casual Parking is available and must be paid on arrival via the “PayStay App” or at a “Pay-by-Plate parking machine” which are located at parking zones at all campuses.

Casual Parking Cost

  • Pay by the hour $2 or max $6 per day
  • 2 hour Casual Parking is available in designated parking zones, or daily casual parking is available.

Intercampus Bus – Nathan to Mt Gravatt

Griffith Intercampus Bus service is a free service to transport Students and Staff between Nathan and Mt Gravatt Campuses.  This service stops at Griffith University Busway Station, which connects to a number of Brisbane City Council Buses.

FREE South Brisbane Shuttle Bus

The South Brisbane bus loop trial will provide additional bus options for Griffith staff and students travelling to and from the Nathan campus run by the Brisbane City Council.

The new service (route 86) will travel in an anti-clockwise direction along Grey Street, Montague Road, Vulture Street and Tribune Street.

The service is expected to operate every 10-15 minutes, 7 days a week between 10 am and 11 pm and will be great for any Griffith staff and students who are looking for a convenient way to get around South bank.


Nathan Campus to Altandi Rail Station Shuttle

Route information

This free service bridges the missing link between the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses. It will connect passengers from the Altandi Rail Station with the Nathan campus up to every 30mins.

Bus Stop Location

Keep an eye out for the blue Student Guild shuttle. At Nathan, the shuttle stops at the Arrivals Circuit, out the front of the Sir Samuel Griffith Building (N78).

At Altandi train station, the shuttle stops at the Mains Rd car park.

Cycling to Campus

Griffith Campuses have several End-of-Trip facilities, which include lockable bike sheds, Free bike racks located at different locations on campus and some Shower facilities located around campus.

Carpool with your mates (or make new friends!) with the Liftango carpooling app and help reduce our carbon emissions. Reduced casual parking rates for Liftango drivers.
