Editing
Do you need help with your academic writing?
GUPSA offers students support with their academic writing via our editing service which has recently been recognised as the ‘Education Initiative of the Year’ by the Councils of Postgraduate Associations Inc. (CAPA) and the National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Postgraduate Association (NATSIPA).
GUPSA editors-in-residence Maureen Butler, Evie Rosenorn and Leanne McKnoulty are happy to assist and there’s no cost to you; it’s a free service provided by GUPSA. You may submit any work directly related to your program of study at Griffith University. This is a service offered to students enrolled at the Digital, Logan, Mt. Gravatt, Nathan, and South Bank campuses. Assignment help for coursework students at the Gold Coast is available via their postgraduate student association here: https://gugcstudentguild.com.au/gcap/.
How does it work?
Simply complete the online editing submission form below and attach your Word document.
Coursework: Up to 4,000 words twice per trimester.
HDR: *Up to 8,000 words once per trimester. *Depending on their workload, the editors might accept 8,000 words as the full trimester allocation for HDR students. Request this on your cover page and our editors can assess and decide.
If needed, an editor will then contact you to arrange a free one-hour consultation (usually held a week later). Prior to your consultation, the editor will email you a track-changed version of your paper.
