Leanne McKnoulty

Editor in Residence

Leanne McKnoulty formally began her writing and editing career in 2000, writing for international medical imaging magazines. Her medical imaging career evolved into business and academic roles and writing was always a major component. In 2007 Leanne undertook postgraduate studies in science communication, at the University of Queensland, focusing her courses in writing, editing and publishing. Her allied health background and broad science knowledge have enabled Leanne to confidently edit papers for students of science, health, and medicine with their academic writing, transforming sometimes highly complex and technical writing into concise, compelling and easy-to-understand English.
