Sanika Pujari
Women's Officer
I am Sanika Pujari, a dedicated and passionate student pursuing my Master’s in Advanced Health Service Management at Griffith University, with a study tenure from February 2023 to 2025. Born with a strong belief in the power of unity and empowerment, I am thrilled to take on the role of Women’s Officer to advocate for the well-being and rights of women within our academic community. My journey in higher education has equipped me with the knowledge and awareness of the unique challenges that women often face in academic settings and beyond. As a student committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all, I am deeply motivated to champion gender equality and promote the voices of women in academia. My personal ethos aligns with the words Melinda Gates“A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman.” I firmly believe that when women come together, we can achieve remarkable milestones and overcome any obstacles in our path.
My mission is to be that someone who fights for the needs and concerns of our female students, ensuring they have the resources, support, and opportunities they deserve. In my interactions with colleagues and friends, I have been described as empathetic, a dedicated listener, and a proactive observer. Through open communication and collaboration, I aim to provide a platform for women to voice their concerns, share their experiences, and access the guidance and assistance they require. My time as the Women’s Officer at Griffith University will be dedicated to fostering an environment where every woman feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive in their academic pursuits.
I look forward to working alongside my fellow students, faculty, and university management to champion diversity, and inclusivity. Together, as a united force, we can make a difference, ensuring that every woman’s journey at Griffith University is marked by success, growth, and opportunity.
